Zankyou No Terror as a whole brings a new kind of story to anime. and characters designed by Kazuto Nakazawa known designs from Samurai Champloo, Giovanni’s Island, Digimon the Movie, etc. Music composed by Yoko Kanno, known works to be from Cowboy Beebop, Space Dandy, Cardcaptor Sakura, etc.

Zankyou No Terror was officially released in the US under the license of FUNImation. From then on out Sphinx sets up multiple riddles via online video and bombs throughout the city in order for the country to discover a dark secret that has been hidden from them for many years. She then decides to join the group and Sphinx allows her to live. She receives a call from Sphinx and they tell her that she can either decide to become an accomplice of their plans or die. Moments later Lisa witnesses Twelve placing the last bomb inside the Tokyo Government building and is then later trapped inside. In comes the third main character Lisa Mishima a student in high school who undergoes bullying by her classmates and deals with her terrible home lifestyle from her mother. This attack is done by none other than Sphinx a group of two boys named by their “assigned numbers” 9 and 12.
Tokyo experiences a major awakening by undergoing a life-changing terrorist attack. Years later we come upon a normal day in Tokyo, Japan. Zankyou No Terror or Terror in Resonance starts off at a nuclear power plant where a group called Sphinx breaks in and steals a powerful substance called plutonium. 🙂 I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this OP! The animation and the song itself when I first heard it…I nearly cried it was so beautiful….OH MY GOD! HGHNNNNN I LOVE IT! CHECK OUT THE OP! 😀ĪNYWAYS! These are my 5 FAVORITE ANIME OPs! BYE! 🙂 This show……*sigh* This show….I have no words for it….it is so BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! THE FREAKING ANIMATION! OH MY GOD! That is the best part of it I think…I love LOVE the storyline and characters too.but my favorite parts are the animation and the music! The video provided above is not the anime OP BUT the band who performs the OP in the anime, Goosehouse. it starts with a group of two boys named Nine and Twelve.and both are terrorists who are trying to obtain revenge from the government *spoilers after this sentence* for doing experiments on them when they were younger….we meet Lisa who becomes a part of their group…or she is basically a “hostage”…As the show went along though…some of the characters really didnt change…the characters themselves were what threw off the show for me…the only two characters that developed at all were Twelve and Shibazaki…but what RUINED the show for me was the end…THEY SHOOT TWELVE OFF! Yes I know he would have died eventually from the experiments done to them….BUT TWELVE WAS BECOMING A GOOD PERSON AND THEY KILLED HIM OFF! *cries* THAT alone PISSED me off!! Ugh…if you watch the show you will know what I mean. Now for the show itself…in the beginning….it was so amazing and unique. They should not exist, yet they stand strong in a world of deception and secrets while they make the city fall around them, all in the hopes of burying their own tragic truth.Zankyou No Terror….Oh…my….GOD this show…the OP is so FREAKING KJDGFHJSDGHJSD AMAZING! It’s not at my number 1 spot but its pretty dang close! The music…*cries* I LOVE IT SO MUCH! The song……SO EPIC!!! I love listening to it…I could listen to it on repeat… XD But the BEST part of it is the animation……HOLY CRAP!!! THE ANIMATION IS SO GORGEOUS! T_T That alone sold the OP to me…JUST GO CHECK IT OUT! 🙂 Zankyou no Terror tells the story of Nine and Twelve, the two boys behind the masked figures of Sphinx. Unable to stop the mass panic quickly spreading through the city and desperate for any leads in their investigation, the police struggle to act effectively against these terrorists, with Detective Kenjirou Shibazaki caught in the middle of it all. In it, two teenage boys who identify themselves only as "Sphinx" directly challenge the police, threatening to cause destruction and mayhem across Tokyo. The public are clueless-until, six months later, a strange video makes its way onto the internet.
